Four systems.
One studio.

SWFNY Studios began as a consulting practice and accidentally became an operator of four working systems. Each one solves a different invisible stage of creative work — naming, production, formulation, and the house that proves the method.

Nomen

The editorial naming intelligence for considered houses.

Nomen is a naming atelier for fashion, fragrance, beauty, photography, and creative ventures — built for founders and houses that take naming seriously. It generates structurally different name shapes, scores them against ownership and memorability, and tells you which names it would reject and why.

The engine reads as a perfumer's spec card crossed with an editorial brief sheet. The output is a dossier, not a list.

i. Engine
Sixteen strategies
Sixteen naming strategies, each producing structurally distinct name shapes — not a single algorithm dressed in different costumes.
ii. Scoring
Sixteen-axis read
Beauty, memorability, distinctiveness, TM risk, pronunciation, story, and others — each weighted and visible, not buried in a black box.
iii. Refusal
A rejection engine
Nomen rejects, with reasoning. Levenshtein distance against known brand registries, cliché word penalties, and consonant-cluster pronunciation flags.

Frame

A vertical operating system for high-end commercial shoots.

Frame holds the money, the legal paperwork, and the operational truth of a production in one place — and renders that truth differently for every role on set. Photographer, producer, stylist, MUA, digital tech, and client each get the tool they need, not a filtered version of someone else's tool.

Closer in spirit to a vertical system of record than to a creative app. Pre-production and shoot-day execution — the layer of the production stack that has never been served well.

i. Workflow
Rules-engine checklist
Stage-based workflow generation across concept, booking, prep, shoot day, and wrap — dynamic to the shoot, not templated.
ii. Readiness
Five-domain score
Creative, team, logistics, tech, and legal — each tracked as a first-class readiness score. Creative as a load-bearing system, not a soft layer.
iii. Views
Role-deep, not role-shallow
MUA glam timelines. DIT capture-naming. Stylist look sequencing with fitting photos and brand notes. Each role gets its own UI.

Olfact.AI

AI for the people who smell for a living.

Olfact.AI is a professional perfumery workstation. Formula development, structural analysis, regulatory compliance, and creative decision-making — built for working perfumers, creative directors, and the houses that hire them.

A human stays in the driver's seat. The product is built around restraint: an engine that speaks only when it has something worth saying, and a workstation that ships dark by default because the work is done late.

i. Structure
Balance model
Lift, body, diffusion, and fixation tracked in real time across top, heart, and base. A structural read of the formula as you build it.
ii. Compliance
Live IFRA, embedded
IFRA 51st Amendment live as you build. Batch cost and longevity in real time. SDS generation with GHS classification ready to export.
iii. Privacy
The three nevers
Your formulas are never used to train AI, never shared with third parties, never sold or used for advertising — architected, not promised.

She Was From
New York

A perfume and fashion house built around memory, distance, image, and narrative luxury.

The house began with four words that sound like the beginning of something — or the end. A woman someone is trying to describe. A memory that won't stay fixed. She Was From New York® began as poetry, became image, and moved into perfume.

It is the studio's living case study — the place where naming, narrative, image, and formulation arrive at object. Fragrance first. Fashion as numbered chapters, not seasonal collections.

i. Fragrance
Numbered editions
A Borough Called Brooklyn. Complicated Autumns. A founding canon released slowly, in small runs, hand-finished.
ii. Fashion
After Her — Chapter I
The first fashion chapter. The First Scarf — silk-crepe, produced in Como, printed with original prose. Released as a chapter, not a season.
iii. Voice
Past tense, on purpose
She was. Not she is. An ache of something that already happened but hasn't finished happening. The whole brand sits inside that sentence.
